Tie-Break Shoot-Off and Final Individual Results
The individual portion of the 2026 F-Class World Championships has come to an end, but the morning of August 14th was reserved for tie-break shoot-offs—and there were quite a few of them.
Our own Canadian, Antun Kovacevic, competed in a three-way tie-break for the podium standings in one of the 1,000-yard relays.
The tie-break consisted of two sighters followed by five shots for score. With such a short course of fire, there wasn’t much room for error.
Antun put in an excellent performance and came away with the silver medal. Most of the Canada F-Open Team was there to watch and support him during the shoot-off. Congratulations to Antun on another great result at Bisley!
I’ve also included the final results from the F-Open Individual World Championship.
Congratulations to Brandon Zwahr, Matthew Basalla and Emil Kovan, who claimed gold, silver and bronze respectively. All three represented the United States, making it an impressive sweep of the F-Open World Championship podium.
A huge congratulations to all three competitors on an outstanding achievement against the best F-Open shooters from around the world.
Next up for us was our final team practice session in the afternoon. Tomorrow, August 15th, the F-Class World Team Championship begins—the event we’ve been preparing for and working toward all season.
