Sheldon was born and raised in St. Paul, Alberta. His first competitive shooting started in Sea Cadets and has turned into a life-long hobby. Sheldon has competed in handgun, bench rest, long range, PRS, trapshooting and now F-Class. He won national trapshooting championships in 1992 and 1993. Sheldon’s career had him working in different parts of the world in the oil and gas industry for 35 years before he retired. He is excited to shoot with Team Canada in 2026 for the World Championships, F-Open Class in Bisley, UK.
