Alan Alton

Shooter

Alan Alton was born in Lamont Alberta, and grew up on the family farm just outside Edmonton.  After attending and graduating from the U of A in 1987 he moved to Toronto Ontario, for a further 4 years and graduating in 1991 from Chiropractic college. In that same year he moved back to Alberta, and established a family practice in Sherwood Park, and grew it over several years into a multi disciplinary health clinic, which he owned and operated for 33 years, and retiring in 2024.

Alan lives in Sherwood Park along with his wife, Logan, and their cats, enjoying a busy retirement of shooting and travel and time spent biking, hockey, gardening and time with family, friends.

Alan was brought up around firearms, having been taught and exposed to them at a young age on the farm and they’ve always been part of his sports and hobbies throughout his life.  In more recent years, he was drawn to the high level of competition and camaraderie of F-Class and that carried him forward to his place on the 2026 Canadian National team, a very proud honour.
