Amelia is 16 years old. 2025 is her first year competing. She's been shooting for fun with her dad since she was 7. She started practicing with her dad's F-Open rifle at the Stittsville Shooting range in 2024. Soon she needed a new challenge after making tiny groups at 300 yards became too easy for her. She just won the long range aggregate (Lt. Governors Championship) at the 2025 Ontario Provincials.

At the 2025 Canada Nationals, she met several members of the Canada F-Open team. They kept track of her progress during the match and invited her to a team practice the day after the Nationals. She fit right in with them and was invited to join the team right there. She is very excited to represent Canada at the 2026 F-Class World Championships.
