Francis currently resides in Rimouski, Quebec. He is chief engineer in the marine industry for one third of the year; the other two thirds, he is taking care of his small businesses. In between all this, he finds some time to shoot! He developed his passion at the age of 12, after winning his first trophy in smallbore shooting. In 2012, he made the switch to the fullbore in F-Open class and remained in this class since. Vice-president of the PQRA and member of few Provincial Associations as well as the DCRA, Francis shot Provincial and National matches in different provinces. Trying to get different experiences, he was also member of the 2019 Bisley Team for the 150th Imperial Meeting and participated to the US Nationals Mid and Long range in 2025. He has now the chance to be part of the Canadian F-Open Team and is exited to participate to the World Championship in 2026 at Bisley with the F-Open Team.
