Antun Kovacevic Wins 2026 F-Open Canadian National Championship
The 2026 F-Class Canadian Nationals followed immediately after the Westerns at Heffley Creek Gun Club in Kamloops, British Columbia.
After an outstanding second-place finish at the 2026 Western Canadian F-Class Championships, Antun Kovacevic continued his incredible run and captured the title of 2026 F-Open Canadian National Champion.
This was an exceptional performance against some of Canada’s strongest F-Class competitors on one of the most challenging ranges in recent memory. The difficult and unpredictable conditions at Heffley Creek tested every shooter’s ability to read and manage the wind.

“2026 has been a season I’ll never forget.
I’m incredibly grateful to have finished 2nd Overall at the 2026 Western Canadian F-Class Championships and, even more unbelievably, to become the 2026 Canadian National Champion in F-Open.
These are results I never imagined were possible when I first started competing. They are the product of countless hours of practice, learning, and the support of many great people and outstanding equipment manufacturers.

Congratulations also to Kaylea Sorgard for an outstanding performance, earning Top Woman and Top Junior honours at the Canadian Nationals. Kaylea finished ahead of our own team members Maureen Snow and Amelia Derk, who also had excellent performances throughout the championships.
The 2026 Westerns and Canadian Nationals showcased the incredible depth of talent in Canadian F-Class shooting and demonstrated once again why Heffley Creek is becoming one of the premier challenges on the Canadian competition calendar.
