2026 F-Class British Open Team Match August 6th

2026 F-Class British Open Team Match

The 2026 F-Class British Open Team Match was held on August 6th at Bisley. Eight countries participated in the team event, with three relays fired throughout the day—one each at 800, 900 and 1,000 yards.

The strong, gusting winds from the previous two days continued throughout the team match. Even during the early morning, when conditions would normally be expected to be a little calmer, the wind made for some very challenging shooting.

The difficulty of the conditions was reflected in the scores. No team was able to shoot a clean score at any of the three distances, making it a challenging day for everyone on the range.

The Canada F-Open Team finished the day in 6th place. While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, the match provided some valuable experience working together as a team in difficult Bisley conditions.

With the F-Class World Championships now underway, the focus turns to the World F-Open Team Championship on August 15th and 16th. The British Open Team Match gave us an excellent opportunity to work together under match conditions and prepare for what lies ahead.
