Opening Ceremony – 7th F-Class World Championships
The 7th F-Class World Championships are being held at the National Shooting Centre in Bisley, United Kingdom.
The Championships officially got underway with the opening ceremony, where we had the honour of seeing the Canadian flag raised alongside the flags of approximately 23 other participating countries.
Two of our junior shooters were chosen to represent Canada during the ceremony—one from the Canada F-Open Team, Amelia Derk, and one from the Canada F-TR Team, Margaret Zhi Han. Together, they had the honour of raising the Canadian flag as our team members looked on.
It was a proud moment for both of our Canadian teams and a great way to officially begin the 2026 F-Class World Championships.
After months of preparation, training and competition leading up to the Worlds, it was pretty special to finally see the Canadian flag flying over Bisley alongside those of the other competing nations.
